Florence Tait Caperton (1886–1980), also known by her married name Florence Tait Dornin, was an American composer and orchestral musician. She was active during the twentieth century, but little information concerning her musical education, professional appointments or compositions has survived in readily accessible sources. Her inclusion in reference works devoted to women composers documents her activity as both a composer and an orchestral performer.
