Notes:

Yolanda Campos Bergua is a contemporary Spanish composer known for her microtonal musical language and her work within the spectralist movement. Her musical style focuses heavily on timbral exploration, investigating the relationship between sound texture and musical discourse, and reflecting concepts of time and silence within her poetics. A passionate follower of science, she frequently draws inspiration from astronomical and astrophysical phenomena to create her pieces. She completed her initial musical studies in Jaca, earning the title of Professor of Piano. She continued her studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Navarra where she graduated with higher degrees in Composition and Musicology (as well as Musical Pedagogy) under the guidance of maestro Joseba Torre. Her musical catalogue spans various genres and has been showcased internationally. Her compositions have premiered in major theaters, festivals, and auditoriums across Spain, France, England, China, Argentina, and the United States. In addition to composing, she is heavily involved in promoting contemporary music. She acts as the Artistic Director for the contemporary music festival NAK (Festival de Música Contemporánea de Navarra), collaborating with the ensemble Cmc Garaikideak to integrate imagination, creativity, and social awareness into the contemporary arts scene.
