CAMPAGNOL, Claudia

Claudia Campagnol, born in Budapest, Hungary, in 1987, is a vocalist and pianist. Raised by professional musician parents, she began playing piano at age four and performing publicly by twelve. After moving to Sweden, her musical focus shifted towards instrumental jazz, influenced by artists like Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock.
Campagnol graduated from the University of Music in Malmö and, as Claudia Dancs, gained recognition as a leading singer. She performed backing vocals for Stevie Wonder in 2009, an experience that inspired her songwriting. Later, she settled in Copenhagen, Denmark, where she met and married drummer Niclas Campagnol.
In 2017, Campagnol reached the final of the Danish "Young Jazz" competition and featured on Antonio Faraò's album 'Eklektik'. Her debut album, 'I'm Strong', released in 2019, received critical acclaim and garnered two nominations for the Danish Music Awards Jazz.
