CALIENDO, Kate

Kate Caliendo is an American horn player, composer, and teacher. She holds two degrees from Rice University and has performed with the Houston Symphony, San Antonio Symphony, and Jacksonville Symphony. Caliendo has over a decade of professional playing and teaching experience, and is recognized as a prominent low horn player.

Her work includes educational materials such as "Holiday Carols for Low Horn" and "Etudes for Low Horn," with a new "3-in-1 Designer Range Etudes for Horn" released recently. Caliendo also maintains a blog titled "Aiming Low." She is active on social media, with a significant following on Instagram where she shares her work and promotes her etudes.
