Madame A. Cabanes was a French composer active around 1830. Very little biographical information about her is currently known. She is documented through the nineteenth-century song or romance Le temps deviendra beau, published in France and associated with voice, harp and piano. Her name also appears in women-composer reference lists as “Madame A. Cabanes, c. 1830.” Although her full first name, dates of birth and death, and wider catalogue remain unidentified, the surviving references confirm her activity as a woman composer in early nineteenth-century France
