Madame de Bieule (also known as the Comtesse de Bieule) was a French aristocrat, harpsichordist, and composer who was active during the mid-to-late 17th century. She is recognized today almost entirely due to a single surviving musical piece discovered in a rare historical collection, titled "Courante de Madame la Comtesse de Bieule", uncovered in the prestigious Borel Manuscript (archived at the University of California, Berkeley's Hargrove Music Library). This source is highly valued by musicologists because it compiles rare keyboard music from prominent French baroque masters alongside obscure noble figures.
