Notes:

Truus Bertijn (Geertruida Bertijn) is a Dutch-born composer and healthcare administrator who has spent much of her career living and working in Norway. Born in the Netherlands, Bertijn is documented as a Dutch organist and composer in historical organ registries. She later relocated to Norway, where her professional track diverged into community development, psychiatric nursing, and church engagement. In 1999, she was appointed as the initial general manager of the Jesperud aktivitetssenter (Jesperud Activity Center) in Oslo, a psychiatric care and collaboration hub that she helped build up starting in 2000. Over the decades, she has also remained active in local church communities in Norway, such as the Jeløy parish (Den norske kirke), where she has volunteered as a churchwarden (kirkevert). As a composer, Bertijn is primarily recognized in contemporary classical circles for her liturgical and keyboard compositions. Her most prominent cataloged work includes Leeuwenmuziek for Organ, Op. 2 (composed 1980–1981) – Published via the Netherlands Music Institute (NMI).
