BERGER, Patchanit Eva

Patchanit Eva Berger is a contemporary composer and sound artist based in Austria. Working under her full name as well as the moniker yxcvbn, her creative output primarily explores electroacoustic composition, digital media, and interdisciplinary collaborations. Berger developed her practice at the Institut für Elektronische Musik und Akustik (IEM) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Kunstuniversität Graz). Immersed in the experimental Graz electronic music community, her music has regularly been featured in academic showcases alongside peers and professors at the university's performance spaces, including the Open CUBE concert series. Berger’s compositional profile spans several core intersections of contemporary sound production: music with electronics, vocal exploration, interdisciplinary projects & screen scoring. n addition to her formal concert works, Berger maintains an independent digital footprint as a multi-passionate visual and digital design creative, showcasing a fascination with internet folklore, pixel art, and experimental web builds.
