Lucette van den Berg is a Dutch singer, composer, and songwriter known for her work in Yiddish music. Her motto is "Give me a song I can feel." She is considered one of the leading voices of the new generation of Yiddish singers. Van den Berg debuted in the Yiddish music scene in 2005 and has since released new compositions, initially collaborating with Alan Bern and later with Mikhoel Felsenbaum, before composing independently.
Her project "Kreukelzone van satijn" is a musical exploration of a woman's life journey, featuring personal lyrics in Dutch and music inspired by various styles. Van den Berg has performed in Europe and North America and has released several albums, including "Lomir geyn tantsn" (2005) and "Benkshaft" (2012). She also offers workshops on Yiddish song.
