She started studying piano at the age of five. Under the guidance of Mauro Storti, she also took up the guitar and studied harmony and composition with Claudio Corradini. At the same time, she passionately pursued painting under the pseudonym Lu Goldberg, putting on important exhibitions in Italy and France, the latter being crucial for her cultural development. For a while, painting and music went along parallel paths, but the author decided to 'paint' her 'musical spaces' with notes, which she had already represented pictorially using various techniques and materials. After spending a few years teaching, she left that work to fully dedicate herself to composing, writing pieces for solo guitar or with other instruments, including a Concerto for guitar and orchestra and the Poem, a posthumous work for choir and trio (guitar, clarinet, and cello) inspired by Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.
