Esther Beresford-Muravyeva is a British-Canadian composer, arranger, conductor, and producer. Her extensive career spans classical composition, choral conducting, and professional musical theatre production across Europe and North America. She grew up in the United Kingdom, receiving her foundational schooling at the City of London School for Girls. She went on to complete her higher musical education at two of the UK's most prestigious institutions: the Royal Academy of Music and Cambridge University. Beresford-Muravyeva has built a versatile career operating seamlessly between the commercial and classical music spheres. As an arranger and producer, she has collaborated with major media and commercial giants, including the BBC, the Really Useful Group (Andrew Lloyd Webber's production company), EMI Records, and the acclaimed vocal ensemble, the Hilliard Ensemble. She spent nearly a decade based in Canada, during which she was highly active in the North American choral and theatrical circuits. She directed numerous choral programs and served as the Musical Director for several major professional musical productions.
