Karen Johanne Bentzon was a 20th-century Danish composer and schoolteacher (lærerinde). Very little detailed documentation about her life and musical output survives in English, as she remains an obscure figure compared to the more globally prominent, male members of the prominent Danish Bentzon musical dynasty. Her surviving archival papers, musical manuscripts, and historical records are preserved locally in Denmark at the Svendborg City Historical Archive (Svendborg Byhistoriske Arkiv) under collection number A4359.
