Dr. Xenia Pestova Bennett is an internationally recognized New Zealand pianist, composer, and improviser. Described by Tempo magazine as "a powerhouse of contemporary keyboard repertoire", Bennett often expands the traditional boundaries of classical piano performance. She studied piano and composition across New Zealand, the UK, the Netherlands, France, and Canada, ultimately earning a Doctorate from McGill University. In addition to her music, she is an advocate for mental health and optimal performance. She is an accredited yoga, breathwork, and meditation instructor, frequently delivering workshops and publishing writing focused on managing performance anxiety.
