BASARIC, Tamara

Born in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia, she began studying piano at the age of five. After attending the Music Schools in Sremska Mitrovica and Zagreb, Croatia, she continued her musical studies at the Music Lyceum in Novi Sad, Serbia, where she earned a Diploma in Music Theory in 1996.Her compositions have been performed by renowned ensembles, such as Trio Recherche , Ensemble Laboratorium, Ensemble Proton Bern, Ensemble Studio 6 , Ensemble Fratres , in festivals such as Vom Himmel Musikfestival Bern, OggiMusica/Wasabi festival (Lugano), Festival della danza contemporanea (Castiglioncello, Adria, Turin, Milan), (Frankfürt), Un automne à tisser (Paris), Bach Transitions (Berlin, Erfurt, Halle).
