Emma Barnett , born on July 18, 1851in Kentish Town and died on February 12, 1942in Hampstead , is a British composer , sister of the composer John Francis Barnett. Emma Barnett studied with her brother. In 1872, she gave a recital at the New Philharmonic Society in London. She made her debut at the Crystal Palace in a concert where she played Ludwig van Beethoven 's Piano Concerto No. 4.
