Carol Edith Barnett is an american composer and flute player.Barnett studied at University of Minnesota, composition with Dominick Argento and Paul Fetler, Piano with Bernard Weiser and Flute with Emil J. Niosi. From 1992 btoll 2001 she was a Composer in Residence at Dale Warland Singers, and from then on, she teaches at the Augsburg College in Minneapolis.
