She studied at the Conservatoire of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, specialising in piano with Maruja Ara Recuero, and in harmony, counterpoint, fugue and composition with Santiago Sabina Corona. She pursued his career as a pianist in the 1940s, giving numerous performances on the island of Tenerife. As a composer, she wrote a number of vocal works based on texts by Federico Galtier, as well as pieces for string ensembles and for piano. She orchestrated two of his piano works, Lejanía and Scherzo, which were premiered by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Chamber Orchestra.
