Elise Bachmann, born on 23rd May, 1838 in Naumburg and of unknown date and place of death, is a German composer.

She studied with J. Love, harmonist, from whom she received a complete musical education. She published a considerable number of easy genre piano compositions, a melodrama " Die Macht der Musik" and several songs.
