Dilara Axundova was a multidisciplinary Azerbaijani artist, photographer, poet, and composer. Tragically, while studying at the International University of Monaco, she was killed in a high-speed car crash with a drunk driver. Her piano work 'Adagio' was posthumously recorded and released in 2024 by pianist Gulshan Mehdieva as part of the compilation album 'Lyrical Pieces of Azerbaijani Composers.'
