Verna Arvey was an American librettist, concert pianist, composer and writer who is best known for her musical collaborations with her husband William Grant Still. She performed in concert in the States and Latin America and on radio.
Her works include Highway 1, USA (ch), Those who wait (ch), Wailing woman (ch), the Ballet Miss Sally's party and the Opera A Bayou legend Costaso.
