Jeanne Burns was an American songwriter, lyricist, and vocalist who contributed material to Harlem's Cotton Club revues and was briefly married to composer Jerry Arlen. She studied piano, harmony, and composition at the Malkin Conservatory in Boston. Active as a vocalist in the 1930s, she performed and recorded with notable jazz musicians including Coleman Hawkins and Adrian Rollini.
