ANGOT, Elisabeth

Elisabeth Angot, born in Paris in 1988, is a composer. She studied instrumental and electroacoustic composition at the Conservatoire of Pantin before pursuing studies at the University of Arts in Berlin (UdK Berlin). In 2018, she completed a Master of Composition at UdK.

Angot's compositions have been performed internationally by ensembles such as Ensemble MusikFabrik and Ensemble mosaik, and featured in venues like the Philharmonie de Paris. She co-founded the festival Les Rencontres Musicales et Scientifiques in 2014. In 2019, she established Ensemble 44, a group focused on new music. In 2022, Angot was recognized as a Laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation.
