Barbare Amirejibi was a composer, pianist, concertmaster, teacher and philanthropist. She was the first woman in Georgia with higher professional education in the music field, a member of the Society for the Dissemination of Literacy among Georgians (Gori division), and a member of the Georgian Philharmonic Society. Her works included piano pieces and vocal songs.
