Lydia Dias do Amaral was a pioneering Brazilian pianist and composer, best known for her solo piano works. Key compositions include "Cascata de Beijos" (Waterfall of Kisses), "Doce Saudade" (Sweet Longing, 1892), "Noturno em fá menor" (Nocturne in F minor), and "Devaneio" (Reverie).
