Afamia Al-Dayaa was born in Germany. She first studied piano at the Trossingen University of Music, at the Conservatoire Royal de la Musique Bruxelles and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna before studying composition. She also completed her language arts studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. She was published as an author by Residenz Verlag, Vienna-Salzburg. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at NYU Steinhardt Music and Performing Arts Professions.
