Marguerite Achard was a French harpist, composer, harp teacher and educator. The niece of tenor Léon Achard, she studied harp at the Paris Conservatory with Alphonse Hasselmans and obtained a first prize on July 3, 1892. She gave private harp lessons in Paris and at the Versailles Conservatory.
