The Donne Foundation is a UK-registered charity dedicated to reshaping the music industry by amplifying women’s contributions and creating equal opportunities for them to perform, create, and lead. Grounded in a commitment to discovery, empowerment, and systemic change, the foundation believes that true equality will only be achieved when women have the same opportunities to thrive at every level of the music industry.

We are dedicated to transforming the music industry by creating equal opportunities for women in all sectors of music. Through discovering and amplifying women’s music, uniting a global community often made invisible, and publishing groundbreaking data, we drive lasting change and measurable impact. With the world’s largest database of women composers, record-breaking achievements, and partnerships with iconic institutions like the Royal Albert Hall, we ensure that every initiative advances equality, inspires and empowers future generations.
