To celebrate the sixth anniversary of Donne, Women in Music, versatile pianist Caroline Cooper and her Pulse Quartet take to the Elgar Room stage, showcasing a mix of modern jazz and funk arrangements (including songs by Herbie Hancock) plus instrumental originals.
Caroline is a highly accomplished classically-trained pianist who has diversified into jazz. Distinguished as a performer at several editions of London’s prestigious EFG London Jazz Festival she is regularly featured in London’s vibrant jazz scene, and has performed at renowned venues including Pizza Express, Spice of Life and the Bull’s Head, as well as festivals across the continent.
This concert is part of the Donne Foundation at the Royal Albert Hall concert series. Donne, Women in Music is a charitable foundation dedicated to achieving gender equality in the music industry.
