TAYLOR, Joanna

Notes:   I'm Joanna Taylor, and I'm a composer, lyricist, and songwriter based in Epping, Essex. ​ My music is driven by untold and unusual stories, and often tackles the theme of the outsider. I have written orchestral, operatic, chamber, choral, and vocal works for professional and amateur performers. Anything from arrangements of Lizzo's Juice for flute ensemble, to contemporary classical song cycles, to musical theatre songs. My main interest is telling stories through songs, and I am keen to develop this practice within my local community, creating performances for, by, and about local residents. ​ I am keen to meet and work with collaborators from all backgrounds!
