MCATEER, Catherine

Catherine is a Belfast-born film composer, music producer, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based between London and Northern Ireland. She is a recent graduate of the Royal College of Music London (Master in Composition For Screen) and studied her Bachelor of Music on the esteemed Popular Music course at Goldsmiths University of London (James Blake, Ross From Friends, Katy B). She was named as one of the ‘Top 10 Young Composers in the U.K.’ at the Make It Break It Awards judged by Coldplay’s Chris Martin & Live Aid’s Harvey Goldsmith, and was also chosen to contribute to the new extended BBC Blue Peter theme tune, working with Murray Gold & Ben Foster. She is currently scoring films, adverts and games and is available for commissions via her website.
